Little Wings and Nomads Golf Club Brisbane Join Forces to Deliver Hope for Families in Rural and Regional Areas

Little Wings, a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting seriously ill children in rural and regional Queensland, NSW and the ACT, is proud to announce its partnership with Nomads Golf Club Brisbane for the 2025 Charity Golf Day. This collaboration will enable more families to access vital medical care through free, professional, and safe flight and ground transport services. At Little Wings, our mission is clear: “Your Journey is Our Mission.”

The funds raised during the 2025 Charity Golf Day – to be held on May 30 at the Gailes Golf Club – will directly contribute to Little Wings’ essential missions, helping children in rural and remote areas of Queensland access life-saving treatment at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. As a 90 percent volunteer-led organisation, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue providing this invaluable service.

Currently, the Little Wings Queensland team consists of five pilots and four drivers who dedicate their time to ensuring families reach their medical appointments safely and efficiently.

A Real Impact – Bentley’s Story

Bentley, a baby from Biloela in Queensland, was born with a cleft palate and required specialised medical care over seven hours away at Queensland Children’s Hospital. Thanks to Little Wings, Bentley and his family could access free, safe transport to and from surgery, easing their emotional and financial burden. By participating in the Nomads Charity Golf Day, supporters will be helping families like Bentley’s access essential treatment they otherwise could not reach.
